Q You have already done such good work on this paper, and now we are closing in on the end. The time you are spending doing this thinking will manifest in a final paper that has a sophisticated and developed analysis. To do this, the paper has three sections. In the final section, you are thinking about the forms of social control that your deviance was met with. As we have learnt so far in this course, social control takes a number of different forms, but its goal is the same: conformity in behaviors (as deviance is break from social norms) This assignment is going to help you develop your analysis by doing some brainstorming. To complete the assignment: You will pick one of the brainstorming activities to do below. It doesn't matter which one you pick: Freewriting and Looping (Links to an external site.) Comparison Chart (Links to an external site.) Letter to Yourself (Links to an external site.) Complete the brainstorming activity you selected. Upload a picture of the brainstorming activity (or upload a file if you completed it digitally). The requirements for each activity are listed on the activity. After completing your activity, please write up the answers to the following questions in the text box and submit them as well (you may need to submit the assignment "twice" for each part, but don't worry, I will see both): What did it feel like to complete this brainstorming assignment? Have you done something like this before? What new or interesting ideas emerged from this brainstorm? What ideas do you want to develop or think about more? Did any patterns or themes emerge across your brainstorm? What ideas do you think you will carry forward into the writing of your paper? Why? (Remember, you won't include everything in your brainstorm in the final paper). Remember the golden rule of brainstorming: There are no bad ideas when brainstorming. Anything goes! This assignment is graded "Complete/Incomplete", which means if you complete all of the tasks above (including the two classmate comments), you will get full credit for the assignment. On your grade page, assignments graded as "Complete" will be indicated with a checkmark; assignments graded "Incomplete" will be marked with an X mark.
